Gợi ý học:

• Sử dụng thì hiện tại đơn & quá khứ đơn chính xác.
• Duy trì giọng đều, rõ, không ngắt quãng.
• Dùng các cụm đơn giản như I’d like to talk about, one of the most…, I usually… để mở rộng ý dễ dàng.

2. Chủ đề Describe your favorite animal

“I’d like to talk about my favorite animal, which is a cat. I have a small white cat at home. It’s very cute and friendly. I like it because it always plays with me when I feel tired. Taking care of my cat makes me happy and relaxed.”

Gợi ý học:

• Từ vựng: cute, friendly, take care of, makes me happy.

• Cấu trúc nên dùng: I’d like to talk about…, I like it because….

• Lưu ý phát âm rõ ràng, chia động từ đúng thì hiện tại đơn.

3. Chủ đề Describe a friend you often spend time with

“My best friend is Linh. We’ve known each other since high school. She is kind and always helps me with my studies. We often hang out on weekends, drink coffee, and talk about everything. I enjoy spending time with her because she makes me laugh a lot.”

Gợi ý học:

• Collocations: hang out, spend time with, makes me laugh.

• Dùng thì hiện tại hoàn thành cho We’ve known each other since….

• Giữ giọng tự nhiên, dùng ngữ điệu thân mật khi nói về bạn bè.

4. Chủ đề Describe your favorite season

“My favorite season is summer. The weather is hot and sunny, and I can go swimming or travel with my family. I like summer because I don’t have to go to school and I can relax. I usually eat ice cream and play outside with my friends.”

Gợi ý học:

• Từ vựng cơ bản: hot and sunny, go swimming, relax, play outside.

• Nên nói chậm, rõ, tránh lỗi phát âm “summer” /ˈsʌmər/.

• Có thể thêm 1 – 2 câu cảm xúc: “I feel happy every time summer comes.”

5. Chủ đề Describe a hobby you enjoy

“One of my favorite hobbies is reading books. I usually read in the evening before going to bed. Reading helps me learn new words and ideas. I like reading stories about life and travel. It’s a great way to relax after studying.”

Gợi ý học:

• Collocations: learn new words, a great way to relax, before going to bed.

• Dùng thì hiện tại đơn vì nói về thói quen.

• Khi nói, nhấn giọng nhẹ ở các từ “favorite hobbies”, “relax”.

6. Chủ đề Describe a teacher you liked

“I’d like to talk about my English teacher in high school. She was very friendly and patient. She always encouraged us to speak English in class. Thanks to her, I became more confident when talking to people. I really respect and miss her.”

Gợi ý học:

• Collocations: encouraged us to, became more confident, respect and miss.

• Dùng thì quá khứ đơn cho các hành động trong quá khứ.

• Luyện cách nói cảm xúc nhẹ nhàng, thể hiện sự biết ơn bằng giọng ấm áp.

• Nói với tốc độ ổn định, dùng giọng nhẹ nhàng để thể hiện sự thư giãn khi nói về hobby.
